Welcome to Amisfield Motel - Tokoroa
We are situated at the Southern end of the Tokoroa Township, off SH1, and offer spacious, quiet, comfortable, clean and affordable accommodation for the lone traveler or for family or large groups. All Units are at ground level which overlooks a large lawn and garden area with plenty of parking space for all types of vehicles, plus views of the neighboring lifestyle blocks.
On summer days you can either relax in the guest swimming pool or cook up a BBQ for the whole family or if you like animals, take a wonder in the paddock to feed or pat the farm animals. The lawn area is a great place for the children to run up and down or to play games without getting in the way of other people and are easily visible from your Unit.
For those of you who travel with your beloved pet/s or who come to Tokoroa to attend the different dog events or horse events or you are relocating to other parts of the North Island and have pets on the move with you, then look no further as this Pet Friendly Motel can assist with providing an exercise area for dogs and grazing for horses.

Accommodation
The complex sits on approximately 2 acres and has 7 ground floor units which comprises of 2 x Two bedroom family units which can sleep up to 6 people, 3 x Semi-studio units which can sleep up to 4 people and 2 x Studio units which can sleep up to 2 people. While each unit has its own configuration, we can alter this to cater to your needs.
Attractions
The motel complex has its own lot of small wee animals which guests or children are most welcome to view or feed. Currently there is Mandy (pet cow) Emma, Mia and Miss Ellie (the pet sheep), ducks and chooks, Jody (pet possum) and a small aviary of Parakeets.

Location
Motel is situated off the main highway in a rural setting, 5 minutes from the Town Centre. If approaching from the South take the first turn on the right into Moffat Road, after the “Welcome to Tokoroa” sign. Amisfield School is on the corner. Once into Moffat Road, turn right into Lochmaben Road, and the motel is a few meters from the corner on the right. If approaching from the North travel right through Tokoroa and turn left into Moffat Road, just before the 100km sign, then right into Lochmaben Road.
